Dr. Maxey was born in Amarillo, Texas, and grew up in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. He graduated from UNC Charlotte in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Communication Studies. He began attending Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina, in 2013 and graduated in 2016. Since then, he has worked throughout North and South Carolina, providing chiropractic care to a wide range of patients.
He has been married to his wife, Katie, for 18 years and is the proud father of two sons, Tanner and Keegan. He also shares his home with two cats, Lilo and Stitch. In his free time, he enjoys music, soccer, hiking, and watching football, basketball, and great television shows and movies. He is committed to empathetic patient care and is passionate about helping them receive the support they need.
